
YEE Chih-Yen
Yee Chih-yen is a Taiwanese film and television director. Starting his career as an advertising director, he has directed several films, including Blue Gate Crossing. In 2006, he directed his first television series for Taiwan Public Television Service, Dangerous Mind. He graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at National Chengchi University and later pursued a Master’s degree in Film and Television Production at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His student works earned numerous awards at international student film competitions. After returning to Taiwan from UCLA, he joined the production and planning department of the Central Motion Picture Corporation and served as a lecturer in the Department of Drama at the Chinese Culture University. He has also been involved in film criticism, screenwriting, television directing, and advertising directing, with his advertising work winning the Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Award.
