
Zhao ZHANG
Born in Haimen, Jiangsu. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Jilin University and a master's degree from the University of Warwick in the UK. Her directed films, including Can China take a Joke?, Mr. Drunk, In the Car, and Anthropological Samples of Hainan in Spring 2021, have been selected for the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, the FIRST International Film Festival, and the World Nomad Film Festival, among others. As an editor, she has contributed to works such as Tian Zhuangzhuang: My Relationship with Films and Thirteen Invitations. She is dedicated to infusing personal life experiences into her creative work.
