Director‘s Statement:
According to the Supreme People's Court, 10,782 cases of child sexual abuse were heard by the courts during the four-year period from 2013 to 2016, which means that an average of at least seven children are harmed every day. The film ‘Broken Flower’ is based on real-life social events and hopes to bring more attention to the issue of children's safety.
