Known as “Red-Hair Emperor” in Zhengzhou, China, Gu Donglin has divorced twice and is raising his middle-school daughter alone. He loved disco when he was younger. Nowadays, whenever he feels bored, he goes to the park and dances to music from others’ speakers. In 2017, as a wave of online streamers emerged, the image of his group’s frenzied dance caught the public eye. Since then, “awkward dancing” has completely changed his family, love, and life.
