Fu-jia’s Home Movie
Fu-Jia the farmer grows lemons on a riverside flood-land. He borrowed a camera in 2009, saying that he would make a documentary on why the market price for lemons remains low. Not even a month later, Typhoon Morakot caused havoc in Taiwan, resulting in the largest flood in 50 years. Fu-Jia then documented the devastation with his camera. Upon learning Fu-Jia's story, we decided to make a documentary entitled "Fu-Jia's Home Movie" –about the man who has been making a documentary.

However, I think this is an ideal documentary prototype. There is a certain contradiction, there is a certain desire, instinctively pick up the camera, to discover, to record, until one day, you are no longer curious, change the world, become tired, return to the real world, drowning in the trivial details of life in. On the contrary, if you really think that you have witnessed something and can tell something, then you will be endless, and you will become a movie maniac. There is no life, no life, and one day, even for what you originally picked up the camera, I forgot.
There are also two documentary states in "The Rich Filming".
Sometimes, I really wonder: What is the meaning of the camera in the real scene? Can the camera see the reality that the eyes can’t see? In other words: the truth is actually very ambiguous, but the ambiguous recorded by the camera is very real!
