Mǎo International Youth Imaging Week, referred to as MIFW.
冇 (Mǎo), derived from Cantonese, is a character with Cantonese characteristics. "Nothing means 冇, sound 耄, which is the opposite of existence." Its meaning is "nothing". Everything is created from nothing. Knowing this, we have the courage to act.
We hope to set aside a place to show the voice of each individual and let the wandering lonely souls live and talk freely. For this reason, we want to use a week's time to open up space to promote the exchange of youth films, so that more filmmakers can find their own soulmates.
