Director‘s Statement:
I've been trying to explore the "nature" of all living things in my playwriting process. For everything in the world, conception is nature, so what about human beings? Xiaobai's accidental pregnancy is an externalization of her nature, and the relationship between her and Xiaochuan (also a woman) can be thought of as friendship or romance. As friends or lovers, this relationship has not been finalized in the world, and in the course of my research, some lesbians. In the course of my research, some lesbians expressed to me that lesbians can't get pregnant, but I've seen some women use technology to get a child, and I was bold enough to put this contradiction into the film, and get a result, as a woman who has the ability to conceive life in herself, is it not possible to love each other and at the same time go and choose to have a child of your own, and to love him.
