Director‘s Statement:
The story of the experimental short film Tow Men occurred in a special scene full of a sense of ritual.
In this round-arched iron cage, it tells the story of two men who met each other in a male-only society. However, the relationship between these two men went beyond the scope of two people and became the mutual breath and obstacle of this male society. The few appeals seem unavailing and unreasonable under the strong demand of an expression of the society.
This short film is considered an experimental film largely because there is a great difference between the narrative technique and traditional films. The film moves the rich scenes of life to a designed stage. It expresses the creators' ideas mainly through the dance movement. It's also an art film.
