LI Jiacheng

Li Jiacheng, a director, cinematographer, and student. Born in Guangzhou in 2002, now lives in Hong Kong. Before his birth, his parents traveled from the north to this southern city on a 20-hour train ride. Caught between the rain, Cantonese, and Northeastern dialects, they struggled to adapt to either culture, and as a result, he developed a stutter. As grew up, he traveled halfway across the globe for his studies. He can only sleep well on rainy days; otherwise, he dreams of a massive, roughly textured boulder rolling toward him.
