Graduated from RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). My work is driven by an urge to reconstruct fleeting moments—memories, sensations, emotions—as they were once felt. I am interested in dissolving the meaning of time, and even the meaning of meaning itself, so that what remains is a pure immersion in the illusion before us.I am drawn to the smallest fragments of memory, collecting and weaving them into a delicate yet tightly bound web—like the suction cups of an octopus, reaching to grasp everything that slips away.To forget is to surrender memory to nothingness. But the work remembers.
