The origin of the story was an attempt to self-mock a failed “picking up garbage” activity (an activity we lingering in ruin place to take photos and thinking). At that point, I wrote a nonsensical outline story and sent it to a friend, but got no feedback. Afterwards, I thought it was too absurd and a bit frivolous. At the same time, I did not have much interest in making a meta-film or deconstructing the process by which film-lovers approach film, so I abandoned the idea. Later, this seed was re-examined due to my FYP chance. Not content with concentrating on my own experiences, I have written of the scenes of survival and the vicissitudes of experience of a group of people on the plains during the winter. From this point of view, I felt that the story began to entice me to explore its unfolding aspects, and I also became a bit more serious and nervous. So multiple experiences, questions, and regrets are placed on this misty winter plain to interact with each other, in the hope of approximating as closely as possible, under different identities, the answers that can be alleviated, though it turns out later that this is no easy task.
