“One More Chance” is based on real events, focusing on social reality, and presenting the other side of the juvenile behavior correction center truly and figuratively. The unique feature of this short film is that the Xiajiang Academy, where the story takes place, is a correction center that is referenced by real events (the Yuzhang Academy case and the Yang Yongxin electric shock case). There have been electric shocks, captivity, torture, but these are only the tip of the iceberg, and the reality is often worse than imagined.
