Chi Sung CHUA

I am Chua Chi Sung, a Malaysian documentary filmmaker whose work engages memory, history, and everyday life. Through close observation, I examine how human behavior is shaped by the past and how images can reactivate lived experience.I also work across television as a screenwriter for Astro series The Exiled, Once Upon A Kopitiam, and The Great Resonance, and as a director of behind-the-scenes documentaries, including Astro Chinese New Year specials and Golden Year Parents Day Behind The Scene.My documentary short Student Work was shortlisted for the Macau International Film Festival and the BMW Student Short Film category.
