During the 2011 Spring Festival travel rush, we returned to the same police station. Apart from a few veteran officers, no one from the previous film appeared again. While most people rarely enter a police station, some return repeatedly in one season. The story begins with these familiar passersby.

In my early years, I was used to choosing a public space as a window through which to observe Chinese society. Without a doubt, this police station is the location I am most satisfied with.
