The sagas tell that E Huang was the hometown of gods. Then they left, and human beings come with pollution.Several stories are told about the young including son of a boss, worker, college girl, triad, jobless gambler, and policeman who live in a small town. The ties between them and the socie-ty remain strong but that only leaves them limited op-tions: either es-cape, or drift through lives.

E Huang Mountain is a small mountain in my hometown. One day I heard the saga that E Huang was the home of gods, so I wondered why the town at the foot of the mountain where used to be the paradise has changed so much. With that question, I planed to make a film. At that begin-ning, I have no scripts or a story but only some vague thoughts. Only after inviting some of my old friends to act, I fi-nally found the in-teresting stories to tell.
