Silent Nu River

Along the Nu River, traditional communities face a plan for thirteen hydropower dams. Following a caravan through proposed sites, the film records landscapes, construction traces, official promises, local customs, beliefs, and conflicting views. Villagers fear displacement, lost livelihoods, and irreversible ecological damage, while many remain uninformed and unheard.
