Story:
He has tattoos. He writes poems. He paints. He has done a few dirty jobs. When he was in prison for the second time, he received a literary award. With a poor sense of direction, he jokes that he needs to "design an escape route" everytime he goes back to his hometown. Carrying 37 keys, he seems to have no idea where life is leading him to. Director‘s Statement:
People around me keep reminding me that I am no longer at the age of dreaming. Worrying about the future became my motivation for filming Benjamin. He used to be young and high-spirited. He once said, "to create is like gazing up toward the sun and the moon." Nevertheless, he always suffers from the conflict between reality and idealism. Finding work, seeking friends and love, he finds himself lost again and again. Watching him behind the camera, I envision every route he took and will take. Reflecting upon the path of my own, I seem to find the answer to my own questions and live out some of the best days.
