A second grade pupil Maomao, living in the border area between China and North Korea, found 34 certificates with a span of 16 years, some of which were written in Chinese, and some were Korean. All of these certificates belongs to a person called Yingbao Cui. Thus, Maomao came up with the idea of finding this stranger. In the process of searching, he gradually realized the vast, silence and loneliness of the world…

Director‘s Statement:
I'm always obsessed with stories of finding. When we are young, we're keen on finding the joys of the world, and when in adolescency, we may feel vast and hazy in the future. Even though we got used to the mediocrity, in some cases, we will go on the road again, to find what we really want in our life...... In my opinion, finding is the treasure of our life. We just keep finding in our entire life so that we can exactly know our own position on this world. In my film, Maomao just rises his hope and then get down,again and again,but he never gives up. Comparing to who Cui YIngbao really is, I think it is the process of the finding that makes Maomao start to concern about himself and grow up. Well, life can't always be perfect. You may end up your life with finding nothing. Just turn around and see with your heart, aren't the scenery and the people you met in the journey so beautiful as well?
