Director‘s Statement:
When I was young, I always asked in various stories, who is the good person and who is the bad person? The reason why we make moral judgments, right or wrong, is not all reminded by our parents and teachers. It often comes from books and movies that we hear and see. Traditional Chinese opera conveys the values of black and white, loyal ministers, good generals, and traitorous courtiers. But in society, we find that there are no purely good and bad people. I hope that ‘A Weary Sigh’ can take a review of medical crowdfunding and ask questions about media public opinion, so that we can understand the gray in our lives.
