Director‘s Statement:
The Spring Festival in my hometown is always very lively, and every household will hold various New Year ceremonies. Although it is tedious, it is particularly interesting. With the development of the times, more and more people have moved out of their hometown, but on this special day of the Spring Festival, people often return to their hometown and reunite with their families. For the older generation, the Spring Festival is not only a day of family reunion, but also the inheritance of traditional customs. Behind these customs are people's nostalgia for their ancestors, their sustenance and their expectation for the future. I'm not sure how long these customs will last, and what the Spring Festival will look like in a few decades or even a hundred years, but I know that if I record it, it will always be there.
