Daxing is on fire, and the shacks are in crises. In November 2017, a fire in a cold storage warehouse that killed 19 people and injured 8 others became the excuse for the Beijing government to clear out the "low-end population". Li Zhiyong, a migrant worker in Beijing, was dragged into this whirlpool.
