Director‘s Statement:
During my sophomore summer vacation, I rented a place for the first time and was cheated out of three thousand yuan due to excessive trust in the agent. Since then, whether in work or relationships, I have always been caught in a crisis of trust between people. My mom, who has been in business since childhood, told me a story about a young real estate agent who worked for three months without closing a deal and then quit. When he resigned, the young agent questioned the industry: why is it that every time I treat customers sincerely and honestly provide all the information about the houses to them, they refuse to believe me? My mom used this story to illustrate the naivety of young people, and I deeply empathized with her. After that, countless times I fantasized about that summer, wondering if things would have been different if I had encountered that young agent. If the rule of the world is to bully good people, then who will still choose to be good? So, I played the role of a young real estate agent and inserted myself into this life as an actor. I filmed whatever life gave me, and eventually, I got this short film.
