Completed intermittently between 2017 and 2021, this short film tells the story of a search and discovery of childhood memories. The author feels emotions as he returns to old places, collects documents, objects and landscapes related to his life, and expresses in images the blurring and entanglement of time and space, as well as the impact that the whole military family had on him. In 2021, the author re-recorded the narration in Viennese, in response to the words he heard in his childhood about his ancestors' migration from Central Asia. With this vague and unprovable rumour I conclude my interpretation of myself and this body of work.
