Story:
Two years ago, I accidentally met Zhuoma, a young girl who loves to dance while shooting with a teaching team. She was worrying about entering junior high school. After spending a few days with her, I returned to my city but promised her to come back again when I parted. Two years later, I decided to go back and look for her based on the limited information in my hand. With her mother and sister going out to work, the family economy has improved, but new problems have swept across the face-the popularization of 12-year compulsory education has made her no longer worry about enrolling in middle and high schools, but because of her poor grades, she may be forced to marry Be a woman.

Director‘s Statement:
Camera recording is an absolute intrusion to the subject to me. If it weren't for the other party to accept the camera very openly, the shooting process would be more of conquest for me. Therefore, during the filming of "Summer Like Myself", I was the one who would take the initiative to put down the camera. Gentleness is the feeling that I want to penetrate throughout the film, whether it is the relationship between the characters in the film, or my principles at the shooting site, or my statement to the audience. I am very slow to get along with people, so I also hope that my film should be a little slower and gentler.
