Story:
There is a Moba Gorge in the Longnan region of China. The water in the gorge is clear and there are many small fish. Nearly seventy years old Han Wangxi can be described as the most persistent person in the world, in order to find hidden gold in the ground, for several months, he actually dug a rock hole in the rock texture of the river bank of five or six meters deep. He cut down a basket of baskets of sand from the solid rock sand, supported it out of the hole at a slow pace, and then poured the sand into the bucket, washing it again and again. Each time, the old man would squint his eyes carefully, for fear of missing a tiny bit of gold. On a good day, perhaps two or three basket baskets of sand on his back would pluck gold the size of a needle. Reaching out, he would stick the basket to his forefinger and carefully place it into his homemade bamboo tube. And when bad luck, maybe busy for a day or two, also can not pick up any gold. But the old man was convinced that there must be gold under the clear water. Every morning he would wear rain shoes, take a bucket, take a magnifying glass to fight for his dream. The summer wheat harvest is not good, the old man looks at the 30 years of planting just profitable walnut trees but full of melancholy, soon here will be built a reservoir, which may mean that the old man will lose his home.

Director‘s Statement:
In the mountains, he is like the lowest-level farmer in China, working hard his whole life with his face to the yellow soil and back bent. However, his speech is not as crude as that of a typical old farmer. He is knowledgeable about historical figures such as Qin Shi Huang and Han Wu Di from ancient times, as well as modern leaders like Mao Zedong and Jiang Jieshi. He is also familiar with figures from abroad, such as Bill Gates. Of course, he also sings Shaanxi Opera and engages in divination.
