Story:
Like Hou Yu, the fisherman's father, Hou Xiaochuan, who was born in a seaside town in the late 1980s, also had a dream of becoming a painter. The stone carvings by the sea were his first works and the origin of his dream. But when he becomes inexplicably involved in a struggle with teenage gangsters, his painting is destroyed. People in the small border town once grew up together, and the relationship between Hou Xiaochuan and the young gangsters today is just like the situation of the young Hou Yu 30 years ago. "No Worries" has undergone many name changes. Although the story has a prototype a long time ago, the original intention is to express that in a small town, every turning point of fate is irresistible to people. But in the later stage of creation, this short film became the introduction for me to try to interpret the concepts of people in southern Fujian, which is why I stubbornly used dialects as lines. I want to restore the fear and anxiety of my youth, and I want to find out why everyone in this place talks about "forbearance" and "consequences", and I want to release the rebellion that I should have at the age of 16 with my works at the age of 22. For all the people who used to live together on the island, and even all the people living in the entire southern Fujian region, we plan carefully, plan carefully, and make plans step by step. We guarantee that there will be no mistakes in the future. Before we fall in love with someone, we think about things after falling in love or even getting married; before we hit someone impulsively, we think about the relationship involved and the possible future troubles; we make presets for each decision and take the safest path. We never listen to our hearts, we only listen to the precise thinking of our brains. At this time, I am really willing to write this book, because it is never fate that hinders us, but our prudence. I want to use a farce in this context to tell everyone who can see this film in this context. If we follow our heart and do what we felt we had to do at the time, at least we won't be stuck with regret for the rest of our lives.
