Story:
In a town, which is under the process of being demolition, a young man named Feng Hao tried to find Jian who owed him money in order to give his girlfriend an abortion, but the departure of his girlfriend made his search no longer meaningful. And at last, by the railroad, Hao encountered Jian, and was not aware that the railroad leads to nowhere which was similar to his own life.....

Director‘s Statement:
I took a set of photos in February this year. In the photo, a railway worker was standing between two moving freight train cars. That moment touched me very much. I began to wonder why this person was in that state and where he came from and where he would go. In the end, this person became the object that Feng Hao has been looking for in the film - the prototype of Jian Wazi. Jianwazi is actually a metaphor for a state of being very fluid but trapped in a certain moment. In this short film, I try to capture the inner change of the person brought by the outer change. Since the issue of demolition has been around me when I was a child, I wanted to explore the impact of demolition on people and the essence of this phenomenon. Although the demolition is not directly mentioned in this simple story, I want to leave as much space as possible to allow the audience to imagine and expand the space and characters in the film. The protagonist in the film actually represents some part of me, and he finds himself confused and angry about his life amid the waves of urbanization and government demolition, and tries to grasp some of his past experiences or memories, only to end up with discovering that everyone's life is the last suffocating, floating plastic bag. Finally, I also want to use this film to capture Tianhui Town, which is slowly disappearing in the tide of urbanization.
