Gao Wendong
The founder, writer and freelance filmmaker of Film Studio. Born in Dalian, China. In 1999, he started independent video production and participated in contemporary art activities for many times. In 2004, he began to write feature films. In 2005, he made his first feature film, Movie Manual (also known as Third-rate Film). Since 2006, he has been shooting the city trilogy: Xi Hai City (2006), Sweet Food City (2007), Ant City (2009). His works have been selected for the Berlin Youth Forum, Vancouver, Seoul, South Korea, Hong Kong and dozens of international film festivals.
