Guo Haitao: Born in Jingzhou, Hubei in 1979, now lives in Shenzhen. Master of Fine Arts, School of Film and Media Arts, Temple University, Philadelphia. The documentary feature film <<David and Patricia>> was selected into the 14th Mumbai International Film Festival Celebrate the Age competition unit, 2012 Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival main competition unit, 10th Beijing The main competition unit of the Independent Film Festival, and was named the top ten documentaries of the year in the 9th China Independent Film Festival. The documentary short film <<Old Tang>> was shortlisted for the 2013 Los Angeles Asia Pacific Film Festival and the 2014 Florida Love Your Shorts Film Festival, and was nominated as the best documentary at the 2013 American Sapphire Film Festival; the short story film <<Mother and Daughter>> was shortlisted 2012 Next Frame International Student Film Festival and the 10th Beijing Independent Film Festival Feature Short Film Competition Unit. In 2012, Guo Haitao received the Robert Flaherty Fellowship named after Robert Flaherty, the father of American documentaries.
