Huang Jianliang
Huang Jianliang, born in Taipei in 1962, has a bachelor's degree in photography and film from Southern Illinois University and a master's degree in photography from the New York School of Visual Arts. In 1992, he served as a still and graphic photographer for the movie "The Wedding Banquet". In 1993, he returned to Taiwan to take up teaching positions in Fu Jen Catholic, Tamkang, Beijing University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University of Arts, and other universities. In 1999, he served as the director of "Taiwan Shocked" and was nominated for the Golden Bell Award for Cultural and Educational Information Program Director. In 2005, he founded the "Image Culture of the Exhibition Hall" and cooperated with Discovery Channel for the first time. The 2011 feature film "Burn it!" "Oji Sang" uses a witty and absurd approach to explore the generational gap between military veterans and modern young people. The survival game of replacing real bullets with fake guns is well received by the fables of Taiwan under the shadow of war.
