Ji Jinglu
Ji Jinglu
Film director and creator of multimedia art. The recent short film "Hairdryer" won the Best Director Award for the 5th New Era Film Season in 2020. Her past independent films, documentaries, and image/video installations have been exhibited in many international film festivals and galleries. She has performed public art activities at the Chicago Immigration and Trauma Conference, the Good Shepherd Women's Homeless Shelter in Los Angeles, and the Community Center for Victimized Women in Kathmandu, Nepal.
As an assistant artist, Ji Jinglu participated in the production of "Pacific Rim 2: Resurrection of Thunder" (Pacific Rim 2), the opening short film of the Golden Film Festival-Bi Gan directed "Secret Gold", Lu Chuan directed "749 Bureaus", produced as art director in 2016 The venture capital film "Wild Motors" at the FIRST International Film Festival. As an art director or director, he participated in the production of many TVC commercials. Cooperative brands include BMW 5 Series, BMW IX3, Ping An Insurance, JD, Youku, Tao Piao Piao, Panda Craft Beer, etc.
Ji Jinglu is a graduate student of pure art at the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and a graduate student of film director at the American Film Institute (AFI).
