Lim Kean Hian
Lim Kean Hian
Lim Kean Hian is a Malaysian filmmaker and a graduate of the Taipei National University of the Arts, Graduate School of Filmmaking.
In 2013, his short film The Red Chair was nominated for Best Short Film at the Taipei Film Awards. His 2017 short film Never Was The Shade won the Grand Prize at the BMW Shorties in Malaysia, among other accolades. In 2019, his short film Langit Budak Biru was nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at the Golden Horse Awards.
In 2021, his feature project Very Very Important Funeral was selected for the Golden Horse Film Project Promotion. In 2022, he was selected for mylab, receiving Jury Special Mention.
His 2023 short film Phone Call Man Woman was selected for the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival in Indonesia.
