Liu Jingyu
LIU Jingyu, a native of Sichuan, graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with an MFA in Film Production (Directing). A former transportation engineer, she started to pursue a career in filmmaking at the age of 30. She was a student of DGA’s former president Martha Coolidge and later worked as an intern for Oscar-winning producer Ron Yerxa. Her films were selected for Golden Reel Awards, Shanghai International Film Festival, and European Independent Film Festival, etc.
