Norris Wong went to The Chinese University of Hong Kong and got a bachelor degree in biology. Then she decided to become a MFA candidate at Hong Kong Baptist University. After graduation，Norris freelanced for a while, writing lyrics, scripts and novels. In 2011, her short film “Fall ”got into Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival. One year later, her thesis “From Here to There”was finished. On her 30th birthday, she started writing the script of “My Prince Edward”. Finally, she became the director of the film and won Best New Director in the 39th Hong Kong Film Award. She was also nominated in Best New Director in the Asian Film Awards and the Golden Horse Award.
