Sean WANG
Born in Beijing in 1991, Sean WANG is a Chinese Muslim director and screenwriter. After he graduated from Communication University of China, he pursued a master’s degree in screenwriting at Beijing Film Academy, with filmmaker XUE Xiaolu as his mentor. Since 2016, he has been working as a freelance documentary and narrative filmmaker. His first feature documentary LADY OF THE HARBOUR was selected for IDFA Competition for Dutch Documentary in 2017 and later screened at various film festivals worldwide. His second feature documentary EPIC OF A STONE is currently in post-production.
