TAN Jingliang
Tan Jingliang was born in Malaysia to ethnic Chinese parents and moved to Singapore at the age of 9, where she lived for 18 years. She studied filmmaking at Nanyang Technological University and is currently an MFA candidate at Taipei National University of the Arts majoring in fiction film directing. Her work in short filmmaking includes her undergraduate work The Transplants (2013) (43rd IFF Rotterdam; in-competition, 2015 Vienna Independent Shorts), Open Sky (2015) (26th Singapore IFF), and Nice to Meet You (2020).
