Tou Shi
Graduated from Guizhou Academy of Fine Arts. Occupation: Painting, Photography, Independent Filmmaking. Exhibitions and Experiences:
- In 1992, lived in the Yuanmingyuan and engaged in independent creations.
- In 1994, participated in the "Asian House Exhibition" in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with the oil painting series "Weapons" and other works.
- In 2000, starred in the film "This Summer."
- In 2001, "This Summer" won the Elvira Notari Prize at the 58th Venice Film Festival, also recognized as a "Surprise Recommendation" at the festival.
- Award-winning at the Berlin Film Festival for "This Summer."
- In 2002, delivered lectures at New York University (NYU) and showcased personal works (painting, photography).
- Exhibitions at the University of Chicago and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus.
- Featured at the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
- July: Solo exhibition tour in Shanghai.
- August: Solo exhibition tour in Nanjing.
- In September 2003, participated in the "DNA Image Exhibition" in Beijing.
- In January 2005, exhibited at the He Xiangning Art Museum in Shenzhen.
