Wang Ping
Born in Guilin in 1992, WANG Ping is an independent filmmaker and video artist. In 2015, she graduated from Studio of Experimental Image at China Academy of Art’s School of Intermedia Art. She now lives and works in Beijing. Combining still and moving images, as well as authentic documentation and subjective reconstruction, her works often arise out of real life experiences, examine spiritual predicaments of an individual confronted with time, death, and fate, and ultimately contemplate their relationship to the medium itself.
