WANG Ruochen
WANG Ruochen, born in Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province in 1989, is a film director and screenwriter in mainland China. In 2019, the film Siri won the Best Director Award at Taiwan, China International Film Festival, the Best Film Award at the BRICS Film Festival in Russia, the Best Film Nomination at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and was shortlisted for several international film festivals. In 2021, he directed the film and television part of the variety show "Golden Autumn Crosstalk Conference" launched by the Central Radio and Television Administration, of which more than 20 short films were broadcast on CCTV-3. In 2022, as a contestant, he participated in the comedy competition variety show "The Most Dramatic Life" launched by China Central Radio and Television as a director and screenwriter. In the third stage, he won the victory prize with the highest score of the whole game. In 2022, he was nominated for the 14th Macau International Film Festival with the film "Even the most ferocious person will tie his shoelace with a bow".
