Xiaohui LIU
Xiaohui Liu, was born in Yantai, Shandong Province. She is an independent director and photographer with a Master's Degree in Ethnology from Minzu University of China, and a Master's Degree in Visual Anthropology from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her research interests include indigenous culture, shamanism, multi-species anthropology, and multi-media ethnography. In recent years, she has produced the documentaries ‘The Wedding of Naho Nha’, ‘The Food Culture of the Mongolian People’, and the multi-species anthropological documentary ‘Arbors, Herbs and Banana Leaves’.
