YU Miao
Miao YU grew up in China before coming to study cinema in France, where she graduated from the directing department of La Fémis in 2020. Her short film “24’58 on the way to Dulpokanova" was selected for the 38th Filmschoolfest Munich, and won the best narrative short film award at HiShorts! Film Festival 2021; “The dissonant echo of desire" was selected for the 29th Raindance Film Festival London, and the 40th VGIK International Film Festival Moscow; ”The elusive joy of labor" was shortlisted for the 2022 Global University Film Awards in Hong Kong, and the 29th Etiuda & Anima International Film Festival in Krakow. Her feature film project "Moving", and web series project "Belleblue" received the writing fund from CNC the French National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image.
