Zhang Vita
Writer, Filmmaker, Performance Artist, freelancer. Currently mainly focused on independent documentary, writing, performance art and art book.
From 2014 to 2018, she worked as an in-depth journalist at The Paper. She began freelancing later, with articles published in The Paper, Southern People Weekly, T Magazine, and more. Her independent documentary A House Without The Poet was selected for the Beijing International Short Film 2024 and the film for mother 2025. Her short film Tide was selected for the 2019 GeoFilm Festival and so on. Performance art has participated in the Guyu International Performance Art Festival, Up-On International Performance Art Festival, Nan International Art Festival in Thailand, and the Cement Park Live Art Festival.
Additionally, she organizes independent screenings, exhibitions, and live performances. She has self-published poetry collections Go Out and Cold, as well as photography books Wandering and Shu, among others.
