Director‘s Statement
A minority in a society needs to rely on outside scrutiny when dealing with self-identity, and when this self-worth is judged in a negative way that has never been seen before with ethnic ties, the damage to this independent individual is indelible. Then all he can do is to close himself off, or even "imagine" a "friend" who can fully understand and support him, in order to gain self-identity and determine the reason and identity he can survive in this society.
