Director‘s Statement:
I chose to shoot the documentary "The disappearing Camel Caravan" because of a trip to Mingsha Mountain in Dunhuang. At that time, the Mingsha Mountain desert was in sweltering heat. Rows of bony camels were led by their owners to carry tourists. Ever since I suddenly felt the miserable fate of camels. The status of "Desert Boat" was completely changed due to the development of modern transportation. At that time, I wanted to make an animal-themed documentary about camels. Later, I was fortunate to film this documentary to record the story of the last generation of camel caravans.
