I already feel raising the grandma will soon died, I grew up nearly 13 years, she had been thinking away from her eldest son, is my father, like to his father, I feel powerless, as the only can do is before her riding crane, give her to do a film about her, about my grandpa, about me, a family history of life. My daughter was born 4 months after the death of her grandmother, so she could not live in the same place. My grandmother missed her great-grandson all the time, but she regretted not meeting him. Therefore, I made this film. The change of life and the change of times remain as before, and inheritance and broken traditions always exist, such as customs and rituals. When my daughter grows up, I want her to watch this movie. One has to know the history of one's family.

Director‘s Statement:
This is a history and poem about my family, which is composed of two parts: record and story. The documentary part took 6 years to shoot, and the story part was shot during the new and old social intercourse in 2012 and 2013. The pattern of life is quite broad, when people ask me what the theme of this film is, I often get stuck, not pretending to be deep, but can not summarize. I believe in everyone's life is a thick and interesting film, when we have to sum up his life, most of the time is a sigh, a smile, a neutral expression, so simple but meaningful, this is life giving personal also numerous also brief tangle and lasting appeal, so the power of the film is not I give, is life itself.
