There are two ways to arrange time. The first way is from birth to death, which is taken by most people. The other is from death to birth and sings for the dead. Each of us should go around looking for fragments of our bodies, and those parts that don't exist just confirm who we are. Therefore, our images should also be fragmented to retain our anger. The basis of our existence is misreading. All human imagination (moral, legislative, ethical) is only fictional romance, and our only noble moment is to become a blank container. The soul of the dead was floating in mid-air, waiting for an invitation.

This was not an ordinary way of filming, it may be barbaric. What I wanted to present is such a waiting container, waiting for its lips, its eyes, its song, and this song was our amulet. The above three corresponded to language, image, and music. It invited the living in a different but the same way.

I intended to present a horror story that took place in the northern wilderness. There was a special period of fertility restriction in China when many families gave preference to sons over daughters in order to pass on the family line. There was even a bizarre witchcraft among the people that could transform a female baby into a male baby before birth. We didn't know the truth of this witchcraft, but there seemed to be cases of success. For many girls, birth was destined to be unblessed, and birth might mean a direct path to death. But the film grew freely in a shocking way. Just as psychics do not actually "master psychic powers", we can only be occupied by it at some point. Therefore, all my previous efforts have been wasted, and the only meaning was to present a wish. I wanted it to be as simple, dirty, and ugly as possible, that's my truth, my answer. At the occasional moment long after the end of the shoot, countless streams of thoughts poured in and almost drowned me. They overturned all my anger and delusions and gave me a glimpse of the secret at once. Its glowing light pierced my eyes and explained all the weaknesses and incompetence. Let me be a slave to this secret all my life, and my pride and psychic powers are only the history and imagination of sorrow, and that's why we exist. This was a relationship that transcends everything but is about nature. It blurred everything and makes us who we were. Life and death can no longer separate us, let us be reborn from death and sing for all things because our starting point already contains everything.
