Since Dawei Zhang disappeared, a friend of him has revisited the place where they've shared their lives together. Psychedelic and eerie musics, accompanied by disorienting cuts, dazzling colors and images heighten in the movie a sense of loneliness, repression, emptiness and unbearable repetitiveness. Zhang has always been in the dark thoughtout the movie, so we cannot help but wonder whether this guy really exists and what exactly the director (Dawei Zhang) wants to say. After all, you can always trust him when it comes to the reproduction of emotions through images. Movie is the production of human's imaginary world, so can be humans themselves. Nobody can be sure about whether or not he or she has ever existed.
