In the Spring Festival of 2000, a group of homeless people gathered on the garbage platform near the railway station in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. They come from all over the country and are of similar age. During the day, they wander aimlessly in the city and live by the railway at night. Usually they pick up some rubbish and bottles thrown by passengers, and then change to eat.
