Du Haibin
Du Haibin, a native of Shaanxi, currently lives in Beijing. He graduated from the Photography School of Beijing Film Academy in 2000 and has been engaged in independent image creation.
Since 1999, he has created eight documentaries including Doudou, Along the Railway, Below Tall Buildings, Peach Blossoms in Human Face, Childhood Movies, Stone Mountain, Umbrella and 1428. The short story "Beijing Chronicle". "Along the Railway" won the Special Award of the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival in Japan in 2001, "Umbrella" won the Special Attention Award of the Jury of the 30th French Real Documentary International Film Festival; "1428" won the Horizon Unit of the 66th Venice Film Festival Best documentary.
