Story:
Grandpa fell in a public bathroom and suffered a central nervous system rupture. The hospital suggested that he should prepare for funerals, but grandma insisted on treatment. During this period, the eldest grandson Keyu and his wife Si Yuan each faced difficulties at work. The second grandson Kebo clashed with the bathroom owner and faced jail. Director‘s Statement:
Life is hard. This film uses the story of each member of a family to construct different but similar dilemmas for different age groups. The 5-year-old Tingting entered the kindergarten on the first day, and the individual returned to her closed self after entering the collective; the 78-year-old grandmother, whose partner was dying, never accepted her leaving to volunteered to let her life die; 35-year-old Keyu , Career bottleneck, friendship torture, struggling between principles and friendship; 35-year-old Si Yuan, first tasted the emptiness of life, facing the emotional dilemma, was stuck in life; 30-year-old Kebo, went to jail for his family’s emergence; 60-year-old Axi, because of his son's imprisonment, he was re-doing his old business and was suspended. In the end, my grandfather passed away, and the van that rushed to the hospital was carrying a family, and it quickly merged into the traffic. They were just one of thousands of families. A mountain that falls on an individual is just a grain of ash of the times. This is exactly the meaning of the question: endless water. The so-called endless period of running water, pedestrians are not yet clear.
